Thë-qoqë Fêqê has a yearly average temperature of 21°C (69°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a pleasant 25°C (77°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 17°C (62°F). Thë-qoqë Fêqê receives an average of 84 cm/y (33 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Thë-qoqë Fêqê covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 7144 m (-19511 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Thë-qoqë Fêqê was founded durring the late 10th century, by G̈îb Trîbm. The establishment of Thë-qoqë Fêqê was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to G̈îb Trîbm electing to pay people to resettle in Thë-qoqë Fêqê.
Thë-qoqë Fêqê was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 10th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Thë-qoqë Fêqê is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.
Thë-qoqë Fêqê is buildings are arranged arround a single spacious packed earth mainstreet with many smaller streets branching off of it which gives the town a over all rectangular shape, albit one warped and twisted by the nature of the curves of the main road. The town rests behind the absurdity that is a thick, timber braced, wall made of clay bricks. While visualy impressive and certainly an astetic, Thë-qoqë Fêqê's wall provides no actual defence against siege equipment due to the choice of its cosntruction materials. Even nonexperts can tell the town is trying to impress rather than defend with its walls, towers, and gatehouses. Though admittedly, they do look nice... To primitive tribals who have never seen fortifications before. The town's political statment focused walls are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the towns defences.
Thë-qoqë Fêqê is not quite well. Something happened here, perhapse recently, perhapse long ago. Whatever it was, it settled into the very soul of the town like a festering wound. The people go about their day well enough, but there’s a tention in the air you can cut with a knife. There’s a patern to the panic. It’s not easy to see, and no one quite agrees on what it is, but the locals know and operate under this pattern. It shapes everything they do, and you feel as if you’ve almost worked it out only for some small detail to devastate your theory every time you try and comprehend it.
Civic Infrastructure
Thë-qoqë Fêqê has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Thë-qoqë Fêqê.
Thë-qoqë Fêqê has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.
Thë-qoqë Fêqê has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.
Thë-qoqë Fêqê has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Thë-qoqë Fêqê's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
Thë-qoqë Fêqê possesses an older civil lighting system consisting of street lamps. These lights provide nighttime illumination to most city streets.
Thë-qoqë Fêqê has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.
Thë-qoqë Fêqê has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Cultural Notes
Thë-qoqë Fêqê's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is which made use of the classical orders and mathematically precise ratios of height and width combined with a desire for symmetry, proportion, and harmony. It used columns, pediments, arches and domes are imaginatively in buildings of all types. Decorative features were seen as largely unnecessary as the sheer beauty of the structure itself was often close to art. However, many buildings with large ceiling spaces had their ceilings decorated with elaborate paintings, simply because the large flat spaces could feel wasted.
In Thë-qoqë Fêqê every night at precisely midnight every structure in town is engulfed by sailors fire until the end of the witching hour.
The Copsewight near Thë-qoqë Fêqê are known to be more aggressive than normal.
Thë-qoqë Fêqê's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in autumn and involves line dance to channel Enchantment energies of tier 3 via singing.
